Role Overview

Position: Volunteer – Program Support Officer
Location: Kano, Nigeria
Type: Full-time, on-site

As a Volunteer Program Support Officer, you will play a key role in implementing and supporting health, education, and livelihood initiatives. The role involves working directly with the communities served by WIMROF, contributing to their mission of sustainable development and empowerment.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively
  • Empathy and sensitivity towards vulnerable populations
  • Fluency in local languages spoken in Kano
  • Adaptability in dynamic and changing environments
  • Educational qualifications: BSc, HND, NCE, or equivalent in relevant fields (e.g., developmental studies)
  • Computer literacy is an added advantage
