HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Okay, I admit it, I’ve got that antsy “I just want to go home and enjoy Christmas” feeling today.  I’m struggling to stay focused and do my work, but I have to tell you, it’s tough.  The good news is that most of our vendors, the media and our clients feel the same way.

In fact, for the first time since we opened our doors in 2000, we’ve decided to close the office from Christmas through the New Year.  Our team is on call in the event of an emergency, but based on productivity in years past, we figured what the heck.

Ours is a business where one can quickly burn out, so a week off to enjoy family, reconnect with our inner child and just plain relax is a wonderful gift.

I’d like to take a moment to thank you for reading the Ethical Optimist this past year.  I hope I’ve shared useful information and brought a smile to your face from time to time.  The fact that you all care about the issues that face our industry is an inspiration to me.

That said, I wish you a very happy holiday season and a healthy, prosperous (and, of course, ethical) New Year!

Be back in ‘10!
