I’m writing this from Palm Springs, CA, where I’m attending the 40th PRSA Counselors Academy Spring Conference.
This year’s programming has been both inspirational and incredibly helpful.
If you’re not aware of this section of PRSA, you should know that it is unique in that it serves senior agency management teams, and is unusual in its entrepreneurial focus. I have been a member since 1995, and am next year’s incoming Chair.
It wasn’t easy to leave a busy office to attend this year’s event, but with each passing hour, I’m extremely happy that I did.
Our opening session featured Steve McKee, who wrote a terrific book titled “When Growth Stalls: How it Happens, Why You’re Stuck and What to do About It.” His presentation was very engaging, and he gave us great tips on how to survive and thrive.
